Terms and Conditions – Giveaway "opti 2026"
1. Organizer
The organizer of the contest is the
ocumeda GmbH

2. Eligibility to Participate
Eligible to participate are natural persons aged 18 and over residing in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
Employees of ocumeda GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation.
3. Participation Period
The contest begins on Friday, January 16, 2026, and ends on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM (CET).
4. Participation in the Giveaway
Participation occurs as follows:
Take a photo with the Ocumedi mascot at opti 2026
Post the photo in the Instagram story of your own public profile
Tag the account @ocumeda_official in the story
The Instagram profile must be public at the time of participation.
The story must be online for at least 24 hours.
Each person may participate once.
5. Prize
A Bluetooth speaker "Emberton III" (Manufacturer: Marshall) will be raffled among all valid entries.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be paid in cash.
6. Winner Determination & Notification
The winner will be drawn randomly after the participation deadline.
Notification will be made exclusively via direct message through the Instagram account @ocumeda_official.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, an alternative winner will be determined.
7. Usage Rights for the Photos
By participating, the participant grants ocumeda GmbH a simple, non-exclusive, non-transferable usage right to use the submitted photo for its own marketing and communication purposes (e.g. website, social media, trade fair and corporate communication).
The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
The participant assures that:
they are the owner of the photo and
all persons depicted in the photo consent to the use.
8. Data Protection
The following personal data will be processed for the conduct of the contest:
Instagram username
publicly posted photo
if necessary, name and address for prize delivery
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR (conduct of the contest) as well as Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).
The data will be used solely for the conduct of the contest and will be deleted afterwards, unless there are legal storage obligations.
Participants have the right at any time to:
request information
correct information
delete information
restrict processing
revoke consent given
In addition, there is a right to complain to a responsible data protection authority.

The contest is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta and is not sponsored, endorsed, or organized by these platforms in any way.
The recipient of the information provided by the participants is not Instagram, but exclusively the organizer.
10. Early Termination
The organizer reserves the right to terminate or modify the contest early for an important reason, particularly in the event of technical problems, manipulations, or legal reasons.
11. Legal Recourse
Legal recourse concerning the determination of the winner is excluded.
